Alex Burgess is a principal with The Burgess Group (TBG). Alex joined the firm in 2008. His focus is providing sophisticated insurance solutions to affluent individuals and families to augment their estate planning and charitable giving endeavors. Alex works closely with foundations and their donors in developing planned giving strategies. To date, Alex has assisted in raising hundreds of millions for charities, universities and foundations worldwide. Alex began his college career playing baseball before earning his bachelors degree in finance from David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Alex also studied international business abroad at The University of Melbourne in Australia, and is an active member of Top of the Table at MDRT. Alex and his wife live in the Venice Beach area of Los Angeles. He is an avid outdoorsman enjoying skiing, surfing, hiking and mountain biking.
